Hi, I’m Mel
I live where ever my heart takes me. Born in South Africa to Dutch parents, I live in various parts of Australia and Asia, mostly following the sun. My social media and online businesses allow me flexibility and freedom, two of my most treasured attributes. The meditation classes and Inner Adventure workshops and retreats…and blog and facebook posts… result from a deep passion to share the light of love and awareness.
I’ve always enjoyed writing, but it took 50 monkeys and a dog to inspire me to write my first book “Buddha in a Red Dress”, an Amazon Best Seller in four categories: Stress Management, Self Help, Transpersonal Psychology and Energy Healing.
With over 30 years’ experience and exploration in personal growth work, spiritual growth, meditation, mindfulness, therapies and transformational workshops, I have developed easy-to-learn processes demonstrated in my book.
I have found that people from all walks of life who have implemented these practices and processes have found a level of freedom, fulfilment and peace that they could not have previously imagined.
Relationships improve, stress dissolves, life flows and becomes an adventure again.
I run meditation workshops in Midland, Western Australia and retreats in Bali and Australia based on some of the practices in “Buddha in a Red Dress”. I’m also available for loving-awareness-gazing, hugs and belly laughs most days. Always freeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
